We have the capacity to assess gas emission rates into underground mine development roadways, gas drainage boreholes and longwall extraction panels.

Coal seam gas reservoir modelling uses the SIMED II simulator. Modelling defines water and gas emission and production rates in response to varying reservoir parameters, mine layouts, and gas drainage configurations.

We use our longwall "pore pressure" model—in conjunction with pore pressure data (derived from FLAC modelling)—to assess gas emission rates on longwall extraction.

Quantification of uncertainty is carried out with the aid of programs such as @Risk.
