Since 1999, we have undertaken gas sorption testing in support of our gas reservoir modelling. To date, we have completed more than 400 tests for over 30 clients across Australia, New Zealand and China.

The isotherm rig set up in our Wollongong laboratory has the capacity to undertake:

• 15 tests concurrently
• CH₄ or CO₂ testing
• Tests up to 10,000 kPa and 50^oC.

Tests are conducted at "As received" (moisture conditions in the coal at the time of gas content testing) and "Equilibrium" moisture.
